Compass Sport Cup Training


WAOC Club Training 28 September

OUR FOURTH TRAINING SESSION will be run in tandem with the TRY-O on Therfield Heath this SUNDAY so why not come and see if it lives up to the reputation?

Because club members are helping with the Try-O before they come to the training, we are starting the training session between 12 and 12:30, depending on the numbers at the Try-O, so we will finish at around 2 to 2:30 when there will be an ideal opportunity to practice hill reps! Please note that for this training session only the charge will be the same as for the Try-O, so £3/£1 - proceeds to the Try-O accounts.

Park at the Sports Club as for the Try-O and meet at the WAOC tent which will be pitched just to the South of the car park.

There will be a variety of contour exercises, including using line features and practising bearings and pacing, For the more experienced the map will have been modified to concentrate the mind on the contours but the less experienced may ask for a more complete map.
