||Maps will be pre-printed on waterproof paper. Bromehill maps will all be 1:10,000; Day 2 map scale will be 1:10000 for all senior courses (scale for junior course maps not yet confirmed)
||There will be a string course both days.
||Enquiries can be raised via the Fabian4 enties system or by email to
||For entry on the day, registration will be 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
||Start times will be available, when allocated, on the Fabian4 website. We are using 15 minute start blocks rather than individual start times.
The time shown on Fabian4 is the start of each 15 minute block (e.g. if your start time is shown as 11:15 your start block is from 11:15 to 11:29).
You may start at any available time, but priority will be given to those competitors who have been allocated to the current start block.
||Day 1 - Bromehill
Bromehill is mostly runnable forest with contrasting blocks of less runnable wood and open. Bromehill is actually a hill, so unusually for the area there are contours on the map as well as areas with complex contour detail.
Day 2 - Thetford Warren
Thetford Warren was extensively re-mapped in winter 2011/12 and used by EAOA for the CompassSport Cup Qualifier event last year. In order to avoid long walks from the car parking area, Junior courses will use a separate map and start/finish on the adjacent High Lodge area. We in WAOC thank CUOC for allowing use of this area.
||Day 1 will be the Icenian Trophy Competition. The rules for the trophy are now shown on the CUOC web page for the event.
