There was some dispute over which lamp post I intended for control 16 on the long course (some people told me there were 2 lamp posts in the circle) and therefore I allowed an answer of either 6 or 7. A few people also got control 2 wrong (the right answer was 65 but some people said 79 and one or two gave a completely different answer). I have only allowed the answer 65. Some mistakes were due to people writing down a lamp post number when the question was about something else. Some people couldn't read the phone number on the electricity pylon as it was quite high up but given that you had to go past this to get to the next control I have not penalised anyone if they couldn't read it. Ian will have to work out how much penalty to give for a wrong answer and how to deal with the two who decided that the course they were doing was a bit long for them. Thanks to those who braved the rain showers to run. I hope you enjoyed it.
