Latest News
Following the recent wet weather, some paths in the country park are waterlogged. We have adapted courses to avoid the worst affected areas. Revised courses are:
Short (around 1km) totally in the country park.
Medium (2km) and Long (3km) both extend partly out of the country park but do NOT go near any roads.
Extra Long (5km) a mixture of the country park and in the adjacent housing estate. Not suitable for under 16s.
Summary
This Park-O will offer an Extra Long 5k course in addition to the usual three courses: Short, Medium and Long. All the courses will be in the park, so suitable for under 16s.
We will be holding our annual prizegiving and AGM at the visitor centre here, later on the same afternoon. We welcome all club members to come and run the Park-O and then join us for the prizegiving.
Park-O Series Info
Our Park-O events are an easy way for juniors and adults to try orienteering. Based in parks around Cambridge, each Park-O takes place on a Saturday afternoon 1pm-3pm once a month during the school year.

Entry Details
For entry fees, See Park-O page.
Entry on the day will be available, but it helps us if you pre-register (no payment is taken until you turn up on the day). To register, go on-line to WAOC entries at oentry.uk. Entries open 1 month before the event date.
If you haven't been to a Park-O before, please read the information on our Park-O page so that you know what to do - we will have officials around to help if needed.
Registration and Start Times
In order to ensure a run, we recommend that you pre-register on-line to book your map and make things easier for our hard-working registration team. Entry on the day will be available, subject to maps being available.
If you have pre-entered, remember to allow enough time before your start time to collect your dibber and pay, and get ready- probably about 20 minutes before you start.
Starts will operate between 1pm and 3pm and start slots are not preallocated.
If you are entering on the day, come to registration when you arrive
Please note that courses close at 3:30pm. If you wish to do the long course, you need to start by 2:30pm, unless you have sufficient experience that you will be able to finish before 3:30pm. This applies to entry-on-the-day as well as for pre-registered runners.
There is a café that serves home-made hot and cold foods, and there are toilets located at the back of the Visitors' Centre.
