Directions / Parking
Directions: Leave the M25 at Junction 26, signed Epping (A121). After approx 1.5 miles at roundabout, take fourth exit signed A104 towards Woodford. After 2 miles turn right at next roundabout (Robin Hood), take third right after approx 800m, continue for approx 500m then park at Pillow Mounds (Ringo 36111) IG10 4AF. What 3 words: feels.crate.tolls. O’ signed from Wake Arms (Miller & Carter) roundabout.
From south, A104 through Epping Forest to Robin Hood roundabout, then as above.
Parking: Pillow Mounds (Ringo 36111) IG10 4AF. DO NOT park in the small car park next to the King’s Oak pub.

It is suggested that those choosing to run Blue opt for a start time before 6.45pm
in order to finish by 8.30pm.

Terrain and map details
Epping Forest North West, 1:10,000, as used for Mitre Dec 2023.
Undulating open beech forest with some denser areas of thicket and holly. Blue
and Green will provide a test of a variety of orienteering techniques in fast open
runnable woodland.
SI on all courses. SIAC activated.
Dog restrictions
Dogs to be kept under control. Respect other users of the Forest.
Toilets: Public toilets adjacent to the Kings Oak pub.
