Report

It was great to have such a good turnout today in such lovely weather. There were lots of new things from our point of view ranging from a new computer and printer through to the introduction of the Park-O passport, so we are sorry for any delays or queues while some teething problems were sorted out. The passports proved very popular and please remember to bring your passport (or at least remember your number!) to future Park-O events; it will really speed up filling in the forms (for you) and entering the entries on the computer (for us). Plus you can carry on collecting your stamps!

Thank you to Caroline for the courses as well as all our helpers today. As the event clashed with the British Sprint Championships in Loughborough, we were slightly understaffed, so everyone put in sterling work today especially with all the new things.

The results are slightly different from normal to allow us to run a schools' league at Park-O events in this academic year. Age classes beginning with B or G are school years (e.g. B5 is a boy in year 5). Age classes beginning with W or M are standard orienteering classes (e.g. M45 is a male between 45 and 49 at the end of the calendar year and W14 is a girl aged 13 or 14 at the end of the calendar year). The Club column will either be a school code or an orienteering club. Where the competitor is a member of a club (e.g. WAOC) as well as a school child, the School column should be their school code. If the School column is empty, the Club column should contain the school code.
