Our first Park-O of the new year, and the new term! On-line registration is now open via oentry.uk.

Directions / Parking

Wandlebury Country Park is located on the Gog Magog Hills just south of Cambridge. The park is 2 miles south of Addenbrooke’s Hospital roundabout on A1307 between Cambridge and Haverhill.

Postcode for satnav: CB22 3AE. It is signposted off the A1307

Entry to the park is free, but car parking charges apply (£3 for any length of visit; members of CPPF and disabled drivers park free). The car parking machine only accepts coins.

There is a cycle path from Cambridge alongside the A1307 to the park. Cycling is not allowed in the park (except young children) but cycle parking is available at the car park.

Wandlebury is also well-served by Stagecoach Citiplus X13 and X13a bus service between Cambridge and Haverhill. There are stops close to the park entrance.

Entry Details

For entry fees, See our Park-O page.

In order to ensure an entry, you may pre-register to take part in this event, which you can do at WAOC entries at oentry.uk (Entries open one month before the event). You will be allocated a hire dibber, if you do not have one, which you can pick up in the "fast-track" registration lane. No payment is required until you turn up for the event.

Pre-entry helps us gauge map numbers to print, and helps us to reduce queuing at registration, so we encourage you to pre-register.

We will also accept entries on the day - you can arrive to start whenever you prefer between 1 and 3pm. Please allow about 20mins before you want to start to collect your dibber, pay with a credit/debit card and get ready. Please note that start closes at 3pm and courses close at 3:30pm – if you’re running the long course make sure you arrive early enough to finish before then.

If you haven't been before, please read the information on our Park-O page so that you know what to do - we will have officials around to help if needed.

Registration and Start Times

Starts will operate between 1pm and 3pm.

Registration will be open for entry on the day and for hire dibber collection, from 1pm to about 2:55 pm. If you are planning to run toward the end of the start period please remember to give yourself time to register and get ready to start by 3pm.

Please note that courses close at 3:30pm. If you wish to do the long course, you need to start by 2:30pm, unless you have sufficient experience that you will be able to finish before 3:30pm.

Terrain and map details

Course maps are A4 size, printed on waterproof paper.

Dog restrictions

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times. Please use dog waste bins provided.

Indoor toilets are available at Wandlebury.
