Great to see so many of you at Hinchingbrooke on Saturday. A lovely day for it although best not to wear yellow as we found out - very attractive to the Hinchingbrooke insect life...

Hope you all enjoyed your run and that the Juniors enjoyed their training which was ably provided by coach Helen Bickle who also planned today. Thanks to all WAOC helpers and hope to see many of you at the event at Milton on 28th July.

In addition to being one of our Summer Series events for 2018, we are also using this event to host the East Anglian Orienteering Association (EAOA) AGM. This is open to all members of WAOC and members of other clubs in the region.

The AGM will be held at 1:30pm (time to be confirmed) so that anyone who wishes to attend can get a run first.

The Summer Events are a series of low key events which offer courses to suit all skill levels, but are especially suitable for newcomers and those wanting to try out the sport.

Directions / Parking

Parking at Hinchingbrooke Country Park.  Please note that there is a £2.00 parking fee for up to 6 hours.  Registration is approximately 300 m from the car park.  Start and Finish are adjacent. 

There is a café that serves home-made hot and cold foods, and there are toilets located at the back of the Visitors' Centre.

Yellow (medium, easy), 2.3 km 

Orange (long, medium), 3.0 km
