Organiser's report

Thank you for coming to the event on such a miserable 'summer' evening.

The morning's heavy rain had abated by the time John Harris and I put the controls out in the afternoon so we had hoped for a dry evening but sadly it was not to be.

It was nice to hear that the map was a reaonably accurate representation of our village. Even after living here for 35 years I discovered some new nooks and crannies while developing the map. I think a few people were a little surprised how hilly this part of Hertfordshire is.

I can only apologise for the one control that someone decided to move, thankfully it was still accessible even though the original position was much easier.
