JIRCS Podium

EAOA was responsible for holding the yearly Junior Inter-regional Championships JIRCs this year at Hatfield and Writtle forests.

The 12 national junior squads competed against each other as individuals and in relay races over the weekend of 26/27 September with not only orienteering tested but also Ceilidh skills! Overall winners were Scotland (pictured right), with EAOA coming 7th out of 12.

Well done to the EAOA juniors, and the 8 WAOC juniors for representing their region as part of the EA squad. Particular congratulations to Erik for winning the M16 individual race on the Saturday.
