Annual Prizegiving and AGM at Trumpington Clay Farm Centre3.15 for 3.30 p.m. on Saturday 22nd March
This year, our annual prizegiving and AGM will be held at The Baker Studio at Clay Farm Centre, Trumpington. The intention is that those running in CUOC's Icenian sprint races in Trumpington can come to our meeting after their final run, but of course you don't have to take part in that event to attend our prizegiving and AGM. All members are welcome to attend.

A new chair for WAOC
Stephen Borrill was unanimously voted in, unopposed, as the new chairman of the club at our Annual General Meeting held on line on 17th March. Stephen will be taking over from Helen Hague.
Calling all First Aiders!
WAOC can pay for members to qualify as first aiders in return for occasionally providing first aid coverage at events, typically sharing with another first aider so that both can run. If you can help with first aid, please contact Helen Hague using the Convenor email (contacts).
WAGAL 2017The club's own league
WAGAL is short for WAOC League. Members automatically earn points from participating in nominated club events, and each year the winners (with the highest points in their category) earn a prize! The current scoreboard is here:

Most events are open to non-members, but if you have enjoyed your experiences and want to orienteer regularly, it makes sense to join a club that, like WAOC, is affiliated to British Orienteering.
