Report on our Annual Prizegiving and AGM 2025
Our Annual prizegiving and AGM was held on 22nd March 2025 at the Clay Farm Centre in Trumpington.
Our new Secretary, Jonathan Ward, was voted in at this meeting, officially taking over from Jenny Hunt who is standing down after many years as club secretary.

WAOC Honorary Membership Chris Morley
Chris Morley has been an asset and ambassador for WAOC.
He served as Treasurer from 2004 to 2007 and was WAOC Chairman from 2007 to 2010. Chris set the standard in these positions and has subsequently advised many later members taking these roles.
Chris began orienteering in Norway in 1976, joined CUOC when he returned to Cambridge in 1977, before joining WAOC in 1982. He has been a regular at events over the years and today most know him for his generous procurement of punts for WAOC’s summer PuntO.
He was awarded the Owl Trophy for best senior performance in 2004 and 2006. Now he is facing knee replacement operations and all at WAOC wish him a speedy recovery and may even see him at future events.
