Directions / Parking

Access to the car park will be from a minor road leading off the A600 Shefford to Bedford road. The event will be signed from the junction of the minor road with the A600 which is about 2.5 km north of the the A600/A507 junction.

As you approach the car park there will a crossing point for runners - please take care and look out for runners crossing the road.

Parking will be tight. Please car share if you can. Please park as directed by the parking supervisors.

Nick Parrish of FB Parrish and Son has kindly allowed us to use their car park for the event. Their offices are approx. 300m further along the road from the entrance to the Forestry car park at the first turning on the right, signposted as FB Parrish and Son and also as Millennium Barn. 

Please use this car park if directed by the parking supervisors or if you simply prefer to avoid the squeeze in the Rowney Woods car park. There is a pavement alongside the road leading back to the Forestry car park.

If bringing a coach or minibus please inform the organiser in advance.

Entry Details

Pre-entry using Fabian4 is encouraged. Pre-entry up to and including 11th November will be £2 cheaper for adults. After this date the higher fees will apply. Pre-entries will close on 21 November. Entry on the day will be available for all courses.

Please provide this information before 18th November. This will avoid long delays at registration and ensure we have enough maps for everyone.

Registration and Start Times

Registration will be open from 10:00 am to 12.00 noon for entry on the day and hired dibber collection.

Starts will be from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Punching start.

Courses will close at 2:30pm

Terrain and map details

Rowney Warren is a well-contoured pine forest with significant spur and valley structure.  Please take care with potentially hidden trip hazards such as roots and brambles in the undergrowth.

Maps are A4 in size, 1:10,000 scale, and printed on waterproof paper.

Dog restrictions

Dogs must be kept under close control at all times and on leads in the car park and if crossing road

Portable toilets will be provided.
