Orienteering for Dogs
British Orienteering has announced a new subdivision to oversee the introduction of orienteering with dogs, hoping to tap into the popularity of dog-based outdoor pursuits such as canicross. The new dogsbody will be known by its acronym BOD (British Orienteering for Dogs), and will be affiliated to the international federation (WOOF).
Rules for this new variant of the sport are only now being drafted, but in the meantime we have prepared a short visual guide for younger participants: Park-O for Puppies.
