2018-2019 Evening League winnersCongratulations to Stephen, Sam and Janet
The results from the 2018-2019 Evening League have now been calculated and the winners were announced (and prizes given out) at Milton Country Park on Wednesday 3rd.

This year's Punt-O was a success (and dry!).
WAOC at the British Long Distance Championships
Congratulations to Duncan Coombs, who achieved a podium place and won a Bronze Medal competing as an M21 Elite at the British Long Distance Championships which took place in Kilnsey in the Yorkshire Dales on May 5th.

2019 Midland Junior Champions
A number of club members enjoyed taking part in the 2019 Midland Championships at Brown Clee Hill, Shropshire on Sunday 26 May. But it was only the WAOC Juniors who were able to successfully navigate their challenging courses well enough to win the W12 and M16 Midlands Championship Trophies. Congratulations to both of them.
Trail O success at the JKAndrew Stemp takes 6th place in TempO
Congratulations to Andrew, who was the highest scoring GB competitor in the TempO at the JK this year, at his first attempt, and was also well placed in the PreO.
Park-O Pioneers Awarded Sport England Grant
We are delighted to reveal that WAOC has
been awarded a substantial grant by Sport England, to develop our
Park-O series, aimed at introducing youngsters (and their parents) to
the sport.

WAOC at the JK
Congratulations to Noreen Ives, our club treasurer, who was class winner in W65S in the Middle Distance Race (Day 2) at this year's JK, and to Ursula who was 2nd on W85. On Day 3 (Long distance), James Haynes came 2nd in the M21S class, Duncan Coombs was 4th in the M21 Elite race and Chloe Haines was placed 5th in the W21 Elites.
WAGAL scoreboard updated after Sherwood PinesScores now include results from the CompassSport Qualifier round
The Wagal Scoreboard for 2019 has been updated with points awarded for performance in CompassSport Trophy Qualifier held at Sherwood Pines on 17th March (well done once again to all who ran at Sherwood and helped us to reach the final).
